Micheal Lepp attended Mount Gilead high School and graduated from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. He graduated from Mayo Clinic School of Physical Therapy in 1974. Mr. Lepp was the Director of the Physical Therapy department of Hillcrese Hospital for seven years. He estabilished his own private practice in 1981.
His main focus in physical therapy is manual treatment of orthopedic problems, using such therapies as neuromuscular technique, muscle energy, myofascial release, trigger point techniques, craniosacral therapy, and McKenzie program. He has attended all of the continuing education courses conducted by Michigan State University School of Osteopathy, and has taught for John Upledger DO. Recently, he taught other physical therapists around the country manual treatment techniques for children with congenital muscular torticollis. He is also certified by the International Weightlifting Association in Personal Training.
